Shakopee Hockey – 2025 Leadership & Development Interest Survey
We’re seeking passionate, committed individuals to help advance player, goalie, and coach development while enhancing program consistency across Shakopee Hockey. These five volunteer leadership roles support the Hockey Development Committee (HDC) and are essential to delivering a consistent, high-quality experience for our players and families.
If you're interested in contributing, please complete this form by Sunday, June 23rd, 2025. Roles are approved by the Hockey Director and Board of Directors.
**Note:** These roles are open to individuals both inside and outside the Shakopee Hockey community. You do not need to be a current parent or coach to apply—just someone passionate about youth development and committed to our values.
Open Positions & Role Descriptions:
• Girls Hockey Coordinator
Supports player, goalie, and coach development and team operations for the girls' program, collaborating closely with coaches, families, and the HDC to promote growth, retention, consistency, and effective team placement across all levels.
• Boys Hockey Coordinator
Supports player, goalie, and coach development and team operations for the boys' program, collaborating closely with coaches, families, and the HDC to promote growth, retention, consistency, and effective team placement across all levels.
• Goalie Coordinator
Supports goaltenders across all age levels by coordinating training opportunities, offering mentorship, and collaborating with coaches to develop goalie-specific programming.
• Player Development Coordinator
Assists in implementing age-specific skill development plans that build progressively, focusing on mastering fundamentals before advancing to more complex skills as players advance.
• Coaching Development Coordinator
Assists in delivering core coaching principles and progressively layered hockey systems across all levels, while supporting the design and implementation of SYHA-sponsored in-season leadership and coach development programs.
