Saber Showdown Mite Jamboree
Game Times and Information
- Games will start on 12/26 at 12:30pm
- Welcome Ceremony - PIN TRADING EVENT
- Location: Shakopee High School Field House
- Games will end by 9pm on either 12/28 or 12/29
- We are still waiting for the high school schedules. The mite jamboree will be either 12/26 - 12/28 or 12/27 - 12/29. We will update the website when we know more.
General Information
- Levels - M4 Boys, M3 Boys, M2 Boys/Girls and 8U Girls
- $695 per team
- 3 scrimmages guaranteed
- All scrimmages will be half ice
- No score will be kept
- 4v4 plus goalies
- Goalies at all levels
- Games will be held at the Shakopee Ice Arena
- Swag bag, T-Shirts, and awards for every player
Team Pools
The teams will be put in pools of at least 4 in their level. We will try and match up teams with equal level of play as best we can. To avoid playing a team within your own association, we recommend only signing up the number of teams as there are pools per level.
Pin Trading Event!!
Design and create a pin for your team to bring for trading. We are expecting 40+ teams. Last year this was the first ever pin trading event at the Mite Level and it was a huge success! We encourage all teams to attend the Welcome Ceremony to make it a large pin trading event! Otherwise you can trade pins in the lobby or hallways of the rink before and after your games.

2026 Saber Showdown
This will be the 5th Annual Saber Showdown and we would like to think it has gotten better each year!
Each team will be guaranteed 3 half ice scrimmages with the opportunity to do some pin trading while you are off the ice. We will have a fun Welcome Ceremony as well that all team have the chance to participate in as well.
We will have the schedule sent out 2 weeks ahead of time.
All teams need to send us their roster by November 15th with their player's names, jersey numbers, and t-shirt sizes. They will all receive a shirt at no additional cost. We also need an email showing that your district has given you permission to participate in our jamboree. Please send this to mitejamboree@shakopeehockey.com.
