Board Member Applications Now being Accepted
Shakopee Youth Hockey Associstion Board Member Application
Thank you for your interest in serving on the Shakopee Youth Hockey Association (SYHA) Board of Directors. SYHA is a volunteer-driven organization committed to providing a safe, positive, and development-focused hockey experience for youth in our community. Board members play a critical role in guiding the organization, supporting volunteers, and ensuring the long-term success of SYHA. At the end of this season, there will be 3 open positions.
Upon completion of the written application, applicants are asked to submit a short video statement. This video should outline your reasons for seeking a board position, your commitment to working collaboratively with fellow board members, volunteers, and families, and the key areas you believe are most important to strengthen, support, and build upon within the Shakopee Youth Hockey Association.
These video statements and applications will be shared with association members prior to the end-of-season social to promote transparency, informed participation, and a stable transition of leadership. Voting will take place at the end-of-year social and New board members will be announced after voting has closed that evening.
